　　《讽刺与幽默》报创刊于1979年1月20日，至今已经创刊30周年。《讽刺与幽默》报是由中央主管领导批示成立，现由人民日报社主管、环球时报社主办，是中国唯一面向全国发行的漫画类报纸。

　《生命时报》创刊于2003年8月，由人民日报社主管、环球时报社主办，是我国第一份面向全国发行的，以“报道世界医药新成果，介绍健康生活新理念”为主旨的大众健康类报纸，报纸立足打造大众健康教育平台、报道百姓关注的和健康有关的社会热点，为改善国人生存环境、生活习惯和饮食习惯而呼吁。
